The House That Ruth Built 4 -9-99 The Yanks Come Home To Defend Their 24th Title
Hi, and welcome to my page! The Yanks did just that...defend their title. Though the rain came pouring down, nothing could get in the way of David Cone and The NY Yankees. The Yankees defeated the Detroit Tigers. On the mound tomorrow...."The Rocket" - Roger Clemens!

The Broadway Blueshirts Sing The Blues
The Broadway Blueshirts have no chance of making the playoffs this year. This season had it's ups and downs...winning streaks...losing streaks. Though they have no chance at the cup this year they are still #1 in my eyes. This is a picture of the Rangers at this past Easter Sunday's game where they were defeated by the Devils, of all teams to be defeated by...why the Devils? Anywho...maybe next year the Cup will be in the hands of its rightful owners - The NY Rangers - hopefully!

David Wells
May 17, 1998....two exciting things happened to me that day. 1st - I became an aunt to Morgan Leigh. 2nd - I attended a game at Yankee Stadium. It was the first game I attended that season. I was with my mom, my friend Maura, and her mother.(We had Dippin Dots that day.) It was such a great thrill. David Wells was on the mound. The opponent, the Minnesota Twins. The thrill...27 batters up...27 batters down. A perfect game...it's really not an experience that's easy to explain, but it was so great to witness baseball history!
